Built by people who have done this before — proven by operators running it today.

Built with operators, not just for them

uKnomi started with an observation rather than a business plan: every part of a restaurant is measured except the part the guest actually experiences.

Labor, food cost, inventory, speed — all instrumented, all reported. But how each guest was served, on each transaction, in each restaurant, was left to spot checks, mystery shops, and whatever guests chose to tell you afterwards. And most guests tell you nothing. They don’t write the review. They just don’t come back. Over the last five years, as the people running restaurants got stretched thinner, that gap got wider.

So we build it with the operators who run restaurants, and with the people who have spent their careers inside them.

The daily leaderboard our customers run on was designed with a brand CEO, not for him — he asked for it, shaped it, and now runs his business off it every morning. Every capability is used in live restaurants, on real shifts, before it reaches anyone else.

When an operator tells us a number is wrong, or that a prompt lands badly at the window, that is the next thing we fix. Operators decide what matters. We build the system that watches it.

What we believe

  • Enhance, don’t replace.

The people in your restaurants are the product. Technology should make them better, not fewer.

  • Coach, don’t police.

Every prompt is an opportunity to improve. Nobody’s job is on the screen.

  • Prove it, don’t pitch it.

Measured results at real customers, before and after. A pilot before a rollout.

  • Fit the operation, don’t reshape it.

Work alongside what operators already run.

The review study

Across more than 10,000 Google reviews, restaurants running uKnomi improved on overall rating, speed of service and friendliness over the year that followed deployment — measured against the twelve months before it. Guests noticed, and said so in public.

Already integrated with the systems you run

uKnomi does not ask a restaurant to change its stack. The integration work is already done — POS, loyalty, video, audio, drive-thru headsets, timers and back-office platforms — which is why a deployment is measured in weeks, and why nothing already in the building has to be replaced to get started.
